Ancient Egypt had many good resources to trade, such as gold, silver, papyrus, linen and grain. In return for trading their own resources the Ancient Egyptians received wood, ebony, ivory, lapis lazuli, incense, myrrh, oil, gold, copper and iron. They traded with countries such as Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Nubia and the rest of North Africa. Egypt was known as the centre of trade. |
